Objectives and Deliverables
The Maritime industry is currently undergoing major changes with the implementation of the new International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. Understanding the intricacies and protocols which are mandated by the code are the topic of this course. It is a detailed description of what is necessary to comply with the code and the duties and responsibilities of the Contracting Government Administration, the Company, Company Security Officer, Port Facility Security Officer, Ship Security Officer, Responsible Security Organization (RSO), and both Ship and Port Facility Security Personnel. The knowledge gained through this training program provides prospective maritime personnel candidates and seasoned seafarers a basic understanding of the ISPS Code.
